The Men's Wellness Report covers health topics where the consequences of getting it wrong are real. We take that responsibility seriously. Below is how we work.

Sourcing

Every clinical claim we publish is sourced from one or more of the following:

  • Peer-reviewed research published in major medical journals (NEJM, JAMA, The Lancet, BMJ, Urology, and similar)
  • Clinical guidelines from US authorities: National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF)
  • Position statements from medical professional societies: American Urological Association, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, American Academy of Family Physicians
  • Patient education materials from leading academic medical centers: Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins, Harvard Health, Massachusetts General Hospital, UCSF

We do not source from press releases, sponsored content, social media posts, or commercial wellness sites without independent corroboration.

Fact-checking

Before publication, every article is reviewed against the original source material. Statistics are verified to their primary source. Treatment claims are cross-referenced against current US clinical guidelines. We update articles when guidelines change or new evidence supersedes older recommendations.

Medical review

Articles covering specific clinical topics — diagnoses, treatments, screening recommendations — are reviewed by licensed physicians or specialists relevant to the topic before publication. Reviewer names appear on individual articles where applicable.

Corrections

If we publish an error, we correct it visibly and note the correction at the bottom of the affected article. To report an error, email corrections@the-mens-wellness.com.

Conflicts of interest

The Men's Wellness Report does not accept payment from pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, supplement brands, or healthcare providers in exchange for editorial coverage. We do not run sponsored articles. Where affiliate relationships exist (for example, when we link to a recommended product), they are clearly disclosed within the article.

What we are not

We are journalists, not your doctor. Nothing on this site constitutes a diagnosis, prescription, or personal medical advice. If you have symptoms or health concerns, consult a qualified healthcare provider.
